Water Infrastructure Report Released by Federal Agencies

The Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers detailed the results of collaborative efforts.

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers released a joint report with the Bureau of Reclamation, showing how the completion of 61 projects over the last five years will preserve access to water in the Western United States. The agencies documented the use of $2.9 billion in funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support 420 individual projects, highlighting improvements to water and drought resilience projects.

“We are at a critical moment in our history with a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s Civil Works infrastructure,” said the Army Corps Civil Works Director Edward Belk. “Together, we can provide the most efficient and effective solutions to promote safety, economic well-being, and the environment in the West and across the country.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for Director Belk as he oversees Civil Works for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
  • For Commissioner Camille Calimlim Touton to be led by the Lord as she heads the Bureau of Reclamation.
